Your Role:
As an MLS/MT, you will play a critical role in accurate testing, specimen collection, and laboratory operations to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic testing in hematology, chemistry, serology, blood bank, coagulation, microbiology, and urinalysis

Follow specimen handling, processing, and testing protocols

Maintain quality control, calibrate instruments, and participate in proficiency testing

Conduct venipunctures, heel sticks, and other specimen collection procedures

Process urine drug screens and breath alcohol tests in compliance with federal guidelines

Accurately document and distribute test results to healthcare providers


What We're Looking For:
Associate's degree in medical biology

Completion of an MLS/MT course (no prior experience required)

MLS or MT certification (ASCP) or equivalent eligibility per CLIA'88 regulations

Strong numerical, documentation, and technical skills

Ability to work independently with attention to detail

Color discrimination skills for staining slides and specimen analysis


Preferred Qualifications:
Registry-eligible candidates (must complete certification within one year)

Experience in microbiology, phlebotomy, or a laboratory setting
