Job Description:

Assists the Team Leader in daily operations, including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects. Leads and develops Team Members. Provides courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members.

• Develops and maintains store layout and product merchandising.
  
• Works with Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
  
• Assists Team Leader in analyzing sales, reports, and labor.
  
• Maintains good vendor relationships and awareness of new products.
  
• Functions as point person in Team Leader's absence.
  
• Sets and achieves retail execution standards.
  
• Fosters a positive team environment and communicates WFM vision and goals.
  
• Selects, trains, and develops Team Members.

    Requirements:
    
    
    • 
      
    • 18+ months retail Team Member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
      
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
      
    • Standing/walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day.
      
    • Ability to work in wet and dry conditions and use tools and equipment.
      
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
