Duration:  4 month Contract
 
Modis, a leader in the IT staffing industry, is working with a client on a Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst Job in Cleveland, OH to join their technology-focused, forward-thinking organization.
 
Position Description:
The Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst will have experience with create a test approach, write & execute test scripts, and create automation where needed. You will be expected to be able to read and translate business requirements, create your own test plan, cases and test scripts and execute them autonomously.  The client boasts a leading edge, yet laid-back work environment where each person is valued as an individual contributor.  For this project you will work to support the corporate systems including those used by Accounting and Finance, HR, Legal and Real Estate. Previous experience with Oracle Applications such as PeopleSoft, packaged software, and Web UI is essential to this position
 
Required Testing Skills:

• 
  

• 6+yrs experience as a Software Quality Assurance Tester
• 6+yrs experience in creating test plans and test cases from technical requirements
• Experience in a large, enterprise size environment
• Experience using the following tools - Quality Center (QC) and Quick Test Professional (QTP) is required
• Experience with basic testing types including: Component (Black Box), Security, Usability, Web Services, Mainframe, Database, and Desktop/Client.
• Ability to organize and lead testing efforts and the ability to write a test approach/strategy.
• Experience with defect reporting & analysis and the ability to conduct test risk analysis.
• Understanding of SQL and DB2 database service as well as an understanding of SQL Queries, Views, and Stored Procedures.
• Experience with XML and possess the ability to update, edit, and create test data in using XML and an understanding of HTML.

 
Preferred Testing Skills:

• 
  

• Experience with Framework for Integrated Test (FIT).
• Experience with Mobile Native App and Mobile Web testing.
