Modis, a leader in the staffing industry, is working with our client to assist them in filling a direct hire .net developer job located in Cleveland, OH.  This large, global organization which offers 4 weeks of vacation is looking for a candidate who is able to work as a member of a collaborative team responsible for the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, integration, testing, debugging, configuration and support.  Develops software using the Microsoft .Net Framework, integrates and supports custom developed software and/or packaged applications.  Interfaces with vendors and acts as liaison and primary point of contact for assigned systems/platforms.  Demonstrates and further develops knowledge and/or experience in department standard programming languages and software development tools to better facilitate design and development of systems/programs that meet Firm requirements.
 
Responsibilities:
• We are seeking an ASP.Net Developer who will design, develop, and enhance existing internal applications on Microsoft .Net platform
• Responsibilities include the development of solutions for all tiers of the application; code-behinds, controls, middle-tier business components, database layer, etc.
• Additionally, the Developer will assist in formulating standards and development practices as well as work with users to gather requirements.
• This person will apply fundamental concepts of software programming and application development methodology in a team environment including analyzing business and functional requirements and technical specifications.  
 
Requirements:
• Four year college degree; 3 years solid work experience in software development preferred
• Experience in current Microsoft .Net software development technologies, including Visual Studio, TFS, C#/ASP.Net, Entity Framework, IIS, JavaScript, Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), HTML5 and SQL Server
• Capable of working independently and as a member of an agile Scrum team on  projects spanning both internal development and product selection/acquisition/integration in a Windows desktop and server environment
