Job Description:
Description:We are looking for a professional Patient Service
Representative with experience processing medical records, and is
fluent in English and Spanish. Provides critical first contact
between patient and Care Alliance Health Center. The PSR will
professionally greet and address any patient questions, requests
for appointments or medical advice; direct patient through the
check-in/check-out process, collect and update pertinent
demographics, guarantor and insurance information in the Practice
Management System/Electronic Medical Record (EPIC ). -- Responsible
for modifying clinical staff schedules as needed. -- Ability to
work with underserved and disadvantaged persons; experience doing
so is preferred, cultural sensitivity a must-- Ability to work
independently with minimum supervision-- Excellent organizational
skills and commitment to accuracy-- Excellent reception, telephone
and customer service skills -- Commitment to the mission of Care
AllianceRequirements: RequirementsMinimum of a High School
Diploma/GEDMinimum of 1 year of Patient Services experience Minimum
of 1 year of Medical records ExperienceMinimum of 1 year of
experience using EPICAbility to speak, read, write and converse in
English and SpanishWell-developed communication/interpersonal
skills Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 8 am until 5
